This utility tool utilizes the seismograph in your phone to measure vibrations, tremors, earthquakes, and even human body vibrations or those of surrounding objects. By leveraging your phone's accelerometer, this app detects and records seismic waves from various sources like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
The app displays ground motion records in a graph format along three Cartesian axes, with real-time data on ground movement or object vibrations. Users can track average and maximum values, view Mercalli scale descriptions, and customize displays for acceleration, XYZ, or Mercalli scale values. Additionally, the app offers alerts for sudden acceleration changes, autosave functionality for data preservation, and cloud services for secure data storage.
